Rebecca Moughon was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and as a child, also lived in France and England. Ms. Moughon graduated summa cum laude from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 1998. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003. While attending law school Ms. Moughon participated in moot court and won Best Brief for the 2002 National Health Law Moot Court Competition.
Her excellent performance in courtroom advocacy at various moot court competitions earned her admittance into the Order of the Barristers.
Ms. Moughon is licensed to practice in Texas and before the U.S District Court and Southern District of Texas. Ms. Moughon’s memberships include: the State Bar of Texas bankruptcy sections, The Woodlands Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, Houston Association of Consumer Debtors Attorneys and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
